Sacubitril-d4
Sacubitril-d4 is the tetradeuterated analogue of sacubitril, the neprilysin inhibitor combined with valsartan in a fixed-dose heart failure therapy. The labelled compound has the formula C24H25D4NO5 and a molecular weight of 415.52, and it is supplied as a colourless to pale yellow gel to solid. Because the deuterium labels leave the molecular framework essentially unchanged, the standard behaves chromatographically like the parent while remaining separable by mass, which allows it to serve as an internal standard in LC-MS/MS quantification of sacubitril in plasma. Such a standard is central to bioanalytical method development and validation, to calibration of pharmacokinetic sample batches and to correction of matrix effects and recovery losses.
